Saint Gobain unveils BPB board overhaul

Saint Gobain has unveiled major changes on the board of BPB following its £4 billion acquisition of the plasterboard manufacturer last month.
The French giant has appointed Pierre-Andre de Chalendar as chairman of the company to replace Sir Ian Gibson and Claude Imauven will take over from Richard Cousins as chief executive.

Paul Hollingworth, Gerry Acher, Lady Balfour of Burleigh, Andrew Dougal, David Hamill, Bob Heard, Evert Henkes and Franz Leibenfrost have resigned from the board, while Jean-Pierre Clavel, Mark Higson and Paul Withers remain as directors.

Antoine Dombre and Roland Lazard have also joined the board.
