The University of Salford has £38 million of work available under a masterplan to create a more “vibrant and successful campus”.
Phase 1 of the plan includes a 16,000 sq m, seven-storey new arts building with recording studios, flexible theatre, performance rooms and cafe, as well as a new build art and design workshop and redevelopment of open space around the building and the university square. The works are estimated between £32m and £38m.
The masterplan was ratified by the university council in 2009. The 24-month contract will include up to six contractors.
Time-limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 9 August. To obtain the PQQ, please register your interest at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/salford/asp/home.asp
