Sandown homes to go ahead

Developer Deveron Highland is set to go ahead with plans to build 550 new homes at Sandown, near Nairn.

The £100 million scheme, which is being carried out with partner Servite Housing Association, will include 139 affordable homes.

Construction is due to start next year on the site previously owned by Highland Council.
