Savills planning team gets nod

Haringey Council has granted Savills Planning team permission for Genesis Housing Group’s housing development in Tottenham.

The Council has previously refused the go-ahead on a number of issues including the loss of a locally listed building, density and mass of the development and s.106 obligations.

Savills persuaded the inspector at appeal with the blueprints on its density position, planning obligations for affordable housing provision and financial contributions towards highway improvements.

Plans were agreed on 8 August, a second success for Savills who were also granted permission for a development at 289-291 Fore Street in Enfield the day before.
