School contest


Eight construction-related firms are preparing to build a series of structures that can be used in local schools in under three hours. Laing O'Rourke, Bovis Lend Lease, Wates, Cruden, Mitie, Parkinson Building Contractors, The National Federation of Builders and Lambert and Walker have all agreed to enter the National Construction Week competition at the Castlefield Arena in Manchester this Saturday.TV personality Tony Robinson will lead a host of child judges before a winner is announced.All the projects will be donated to schools.
