Second chance


An £80 million PPP schools deal that was scrapped last year at a cost of £1 million to Dumfries and Galloway Council is due to go back on the market this week. The contract to build 11 schools in the Dumfries area was pulled last May when the council was left with Amec as the only bidder. It is due to appear in the Official Journal in the next few days.
