Send letters from abroad

Working abroad can be challenging but also bring immense rewards. We invite you to write a letter to the readers back home.

Tell us about the project you are working on. Imagine that you are writing to a fellow project manager.

Here are some things you could write about:

What are the challenges?

How are you coping with local conditions?

How is the construction culture different?

What do you enjoy most about the country you are in?

What are you missing about home?

Letters should be 300 words long and accompanied by a picture of the author. The competition is open to anyone working on a project overseas. Letters will be published throughout the year.

At the end of the year the writer of the best will win £300. Email your entry with photo, contact details, phone number and the name of the company you work for to cneditorial@emap. com
