Sexism case

HSE principal inspector Bernadette Cadman will hear the outcome »of her court battle with the body over equal pay in September, following hearings in the Court of Appeal last week.

Ms Cadman won an employment tribunal in 2002 after she was paid up to £7,000 less than male colleagues of the same grade, but the Employment Appeals Tribunal overturned the decision last year.
