Shipman may have killed 137 more patients

An inquiry report will reveal next week if Harold Shipman may have killed up to 137 more patients while he trained as a hospital doctor.
It will reveal how many, if any, of the deaths that occurred between 1970 and 1974, at Pontefract General Infirmary, West Yorkshire, were unlawful killings.

Officials on the Shipman Inquiry released the figure of 137 as it announced that publication of its Sixth Report will be next Thursday.
