Siltbuster goes alone

THE FIRM behind Siltbuster mobile silt traps has expanded to meet demand from construction sites for water clean-up.

Manufacturer Unipure has made Siltbuster Limited a standalone company under new managing director George Anderson and given the firm its own premises in Monmouth, South Wales, where it will maintain the hire fleet of Siltbuster units along with warehousing and laboratory facilities.

Siltbuster said one FB50 unit could match 10 3 m x 2 m conventional tanks without needing pipework or power.

The units claim 90 per cent removal of 15 micron particles at 45 cu m/hour, or 6 micron particles at 5 cu m/hour.
