A joint venture including Sir Robert McAlpine and Norwest Holst has won a £13 million deal to build a new pathology laboratory at the Royal Oldham Hospital for the Pennine Acute Hospital NHS Trust.
The three storey facility will combine pathology services from four separate hospitals onto one site as a central point across north east Greater Manchester area.

The building is due for completion in November 2007.
