Six chasing 800-home Lea Valley development

CONTRACTS LONDON

THE LONDON Development Agency has shortlisted six teams to submit plans for a housing development at a former east London hospital.

The scheme will see 800 homes replace St Andrew's Hospital in Lower Lea Valley.

The consortia are: Barratt with Circle Anglia Housing Association; Berkeley Group; Countryside Properties with Swan Housing Association; Crest Nicholson with Metropolitan and Newlon Housing Associations; Genesis Housing Group with London and Regional Properties; and Urban Splash with Southern Housing Association.
