Sludge works

SEVERN Trent Water is inviting firms to prequalify for a £40 million sludge digestion programme.

Potential bidders need to send in applications by December 17 this year.

The sites involved include sludge treatment works at Stroud, Gloucestershire; Spernal and Barnhurst, West Midlands; Strongford, Staffordshire; and Newthorpe on the Notts/Derbyshire border.
