Bristol’s Southmead hospital has invited tenders for construction of a pathology building as part of a £250m PFI investment programme.
The project will include the design and construction of a new Pathology 2 building and some re-configuration works in the recently completed pathology building.
Planning permission has been applied for and a decision is expected before tenders are issued.
Work will include demolition of existing buildings necessary to complete the new hospital.
The governing body North Bristol NHS Trust is seeking a minimum of three contractors and a maximum of six.
Bids need to be received by midday on 18 March and should be submitted by the Trust’s eSourcing system TACTICA at https://tactica-live.advanced365.com.
