CAUNTON Engineering has secured a £600,000 contract from SOL Construction to supply, deliver and erect steelwork for a new grandstand at the Radcliffe Road end of Trent Bridge cricket ground, Nottingham.
HADEN Young has secured a deal from main contractor Laing at the Milton Keynes Theatre and Arts Centre. Included in this £3.2 million project are stage lighting and sound systems, an adjustable height ceiling in the main auditorium and under-seat air conditioning.

FAIRPORT Steelwork has taken a contract to manufacture the four structural steel towers for
the new Lowry Centre footbridge, Manchester. The contract involves the fabrication and installation of 230 tonnes of tubular steel. Christiani & Nielsen is the main contractor.

At Scheveningen, Holland, the firm will supply the structure for a glass cover over a retail complex for client Rewa. And at Bishopsgate, London, PI will provide the steel sections for a glazed atrium on the ABN Bank project.
