Split pumps steer success

Caterpillar has launched a version of its D6 dozer that promises better steering through use of separate hydraulic pumps for steering and attachments.

The 138 kW machine also features the Multi Velocity Program, a system that offers speed control across five ranges.

The D6T offers a choice of six undercarriages, using Cat’s SystemOne ‘sealed for life’ cartridge.
