SSC launched at Holyrood

The new Scottish Construction Centre was officially launched at the Parliament building at Holyrood, yesterday evening.

The SCC consortium is led by building research group CIRIA and consists of BRE Scotland, Glasgow Caledonian University, University of Dundee and Building Software Limited.

Initial progress from the SCC includes the establishment of four regional 'nodes' in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow, the creation of a 'one-door' technical helpline for the industry and the development of the SCC KPI framework.
