St Helens school extension up for grabs

St Helens Council is planning a £3.6m new build extension to Manorfield Primary School in order to enable an increase in school places from 470 to 680 pupils.

The new accomodation will require the formation of new administration, circulation and classroom spaces with a lift to enable access to all areas.

The works, which will be undertaken in an occupied school, will include some demolition of the existing structure and the new build will have a piled foundation, steel framework with pre-cast and in-situ concrete slabs.

The deadline for responses is October 30.
