St Modwen make planning progress on Long Marston Masterplan

Regeneration specialist St Modwen has conditionally been granted planning permission for its £100 million Long Marston Masterplan by Stratford on Avon District Council.

The mixed-use scheme, to be built on the 478 acre former Ministry of Defence site in Warkwickshire, has been given the green light subject a to a Section 106 agreement and pending a decision from the Secretary of State on whether to ‘call in’ the application for further consideration.

It will see the creation of a leisure hub featuring 150 self catering lodges and 150 holiday homes as well as 500 new homes on the site.

The scheme also includes an outdoor activity centre and a caravan park together with football and cricket pitches and a rail heritage centre.
