Architect Sir Norman Foster looks up at a model of the Swiss Re building, designed by Foster & Partners, one of six buildings shortlisted for the Royal Institute of British Architects' prestigious Stirling Prize.The Skanska-built tower, officially known as 30 St Mary Axe, is 5-2 favourite to scoop the £20,000 prize, which is announced next month.

Other buildings on the shortlist include the Spire in Dublin and Imperial War Museum North in Manchester.
