The first sections of more than 10,000 tonnes of steelwork for the new 1.2 km-long River Swale Crossing on the A249 Swale Stockbury to Sheerness DBFO in Kent have been lifted into place. Fairfield Mabey is working on the steel and Carillion is main contractor.
