STEELY AMBITION: Sheffield City Council has granted planning permission for the mixeduse City Gate S1 development on the A61 St Mary's Gate roundabout. Designed by local architects Bond Bryan, the 14-storey building will feature a 120 bed Tulip Inn hotel and eight storeys of offices. Work for client Tiger Developments begins early next year.
