Stonehaven housing plans unveiled

A trio of developers have unveiled plans for a £200 million housing scheme at Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire.

Stewart Milne Homes, Dunecht Estates and Bancon Developments are planning to build 1,000 new homes, a school, a medical centre and a coastal country park.

The site, just below Braehead Farm, is 200 acres large and covers both sides of the A92 Stonehaven to Inverbervie road.

Aberdeenshire Council will now consider the plans.
