Strike ends

Hundreds of repair and maintenance workers at Aberthaw power station in South Wales went back to work this week following a sevenday unofficial strike over a Naeci pay classification row.Main contractor Mitsui Babcock and subcontractors Hertel and Cape met unions on Monday and agreed to the men's demands to be paid at least a category three basic hourly rate of £10.80 instead of the category four rate of £9.65.
