Subbies stay with NJCC

CONSTRUCTIONs good practice advisory body, the National Joint Consultative Committee for Building, looks set to receive funding for a further six months following its annual meeting last week.

Subcontracting bodies had threatened to pull out of the committee which also represents builders, architects, surveyors, consulting engineers and specialists arguing the NJCCs work will be superseded by the Construction Industry Board, the body set up to implement the Latham review.
