Sweett tops £100m of orders for first time

Sweett Group’s order book has topped £100m for the first time in its history.

The consultancy reported this morning that contracted orders are currently £102m, an increase of £10m since the interim results were published in November 2012.

Dean Webster, chief executive officer of Sweett Group, said: “We are delighted to report an increase in our contracted order book, which has been achieved in each of our operating regions.

“The order book comprises 33 per cent from the group’s traditional UK markets and 67 per cent from overseas, reflecting both our geographic and sector diversification.”

It comes after the group said it planned to increase overseas revenue to at least 50 per cent.
