SWH secures £3.4m job

Exeter-based SWH Ltd has won a £3.4 million contract revamp the Minehead Market Site project in the South West.

Work will cover construction of new industrial and retail units plus open-air exhibition and market units and car parking.

The project will be carried out for Somerset County Council, South West of England Regional Development Agency, Government Office South West and the West Somerset Railway.

SWH managing director Ben Pyle said: "Winning this contract underscores SWH's ability to take on ever more complex construction work and confirms client's confidence in our quality of work."

SWH Ltd - formerly South West Highways - has 675 staff operating across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset.
