Swindon £5m health scheme up for grabs

Contractors are invited to tender for a £5 million scheme to upgrade the Great Western Hospital in Swindon for Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.
Work will cover construction of an in-patient unit split into two wards for mental illness, a therapy suite and garden as well as administrative office space.

Up to ten bidders will be invited to tender for the deal set for completion in January 2008.

Firms have until mid-November to express an interest.
