Swindon schools contracts offered

Swindon Borough Council has advertised a pair of school building deals worth up to £10 million.

It is looking for contractors to build a £5.65 million primary school with 26 place nursery in Wichelstowe (previously known as the Swindon Southern Development Area).

It is also calling for firms to thrown their hats in the ring for a £3.6 million contract to build a new two storey teaching block at Ridgeway Comprehensive School, Wroughton.

Expressions of interest for either deal must be submitted by January 28 2008.
