T5 food fight

Workers at Heathrow's T5 were planning to stage a boycott of the building site's canteens yesterday (Wednesday) in a protest over the price and quality of the food.Disgruntled operatives from Crown House, Laing O'Rourke, Bachy Soletanche, Amec, Wilson James and Hotchkiss were due to shun the canteen food for the day.

Leaflets were handed out across T5 urging men to bring their own food and drink to work.A BAA spokeswoman said: ' We offer some of the best facilities of any construction site in the UK.'
