NEWS IN BREIF

Another meeting between T5 steel erectors, Amicus, BAA and Vanderlande has been planned for Wednesday to discuss the lay-off of labour at the baggage handling site. British steel erectors hope they will be kept on and Dutch workers laid off by employer Vanderlande as had been agreed. But if the agreement is broken Am icus has said it will ballot its members.
