Tebay pair appear in court

TWO men appeared in court on Tuesday accused of killing four rail workers who died when they were hit by a runaway trailer.

Mark Connolly, 43, from North Wales, and Roy Kennett,27, from Kent appeared at Kendal Magistrates' Court charged with four counts of manslaughter. Neither defendant entered a plea.They were released on unconditional bail to appear before Carlisle Crown Court on November 10.

The pair were charged after the deaths in February of four men working on the West Coast Main Line at Tebay in Cumbria.
