Teen spirit

A division of the Kier Group is helping 22 London teenagers renovate a council house in just 20 hours.

Supervisors from Caxton Islington, which maintains and repairs council homes in Islington, north London, will teach the youngsters basic skills in plumbing, electrical work, plastering, painting and decorating. Each of the 22, who attend schools in the borough, will spend two hours a week for 10 weeks renovating the flat.
