Balfour Beatty has won a £70 million contract to build the Temple Quay development in Bristol.

The work will be carried out through its subsidiary Cowlin and as well as the 210,000 sq ft office building includes revamping the basement of a neighbouring building and the construction of a residential tower.

The project is due to be completed by the end of 2010.
