Tenders down

The slowdown in the London office market led to a fall in construction tender prices in the capital during the second quarter of this year. Prices are back down to the same level as six months ago as new commercial work continues to taper off.

Latest figures from the Davis Langdon & Everest Tender Price Index survey show London lagging behind a general 8 per cent cost rise across the rest of the country.
