Terex reported a turnover of £683 million in the quarter ending September 30, a rise of 38 per cent on the previous year, as the US giant reaped the results of the increased global demand for construction equipment. Chief executive Ron de Feo predicted further sales increases in 2005 as divisions such as road building reached their peak sales.
