Three hunt school deal

CONTRACTS - WALSALL

THREE contractors are vying for a £20 million education contract in the West Midlands.

Laing O'Rourke, Taylor Woodrow and Galliford Try are pricing the deal, which will see Walsall's Grace Academy Christian school receive a four-storey technology centre to replace its current one.

The teams are working up bids and the school wants them in by December 10. A decision is likely to be made by the middle of next month, with the building completed in July 2006.
