Tool safety

Tool specialist Makita has launched a safety awareness campaign aimed at power tool users. The Be Safe campaign covers the use of circuit breakers, not forcing the tool, standing on solid ground and eye protection. It has been developed with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, which is concerned at the 10,000 accidents a year with power tools. The campaign is being rolled out through further education colleges.
