Town planning tender issued for Leeds NHS Trust

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has tendered for a town planner to help develop plans for the disposal of its general infirmary.

The winning bidder will provide urban planning, architectural and engineering services.

Among the trust’s criteria are value for money, PFI experience, innovation, links with Leeds City Council and the trust itself, experience of conservation and change of land use.

In November last year the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Assura Group reached financial close on a £6 million shopping centre PPP project at St James's University Hospital in Leeds.
