Tragic father 'protecting his home from gang'

A father of five who died after yobs pelted his home with eggs was protecting his home from a gang which had repeatedly tormented his street, his family said.
Terry Barrett, 56, collapsed and died after teenagers threw missiles at the front door of his house in Alamein Road, Saltash, east Cornwall, four times in the early hours of Saturday, said police.

On the fourth occasion - at 5.43am - his wife called police to say her husband had collapsed and died in hospital following the previous incidents.
