Training for rail bosses

NETWORK Rail is setting up the first operator-owned training centre for managers since the days of British Rail.

The operator will spend £20 million on the purpose-built residential centre in Coventry, called Westwood.

The money will go towards developing a curriculum for managers and supervisors, buying and running the centre and upgrading the facilities.
