Tunnel time

Nuttall, Murphy, Amec and Morgan Est have been given an extension by Thames Water to bid for a £20 million deal to build a new tunnel under the M40 in Buckinghamshire to serve the Little Marlow Sewage Treatment Works.

Tenders were returned on Tuesday. The bidders had protested that the original date of April 20 did not give them enough time to draw up their bids.
