TUNNEL VISION: Balfour Beatty is due to complete installing new track on the Waterloo & City Line on the London Underground network by the end of July. In all, 4,300 m of track is being replaced on the line, which runs 2.4 km between Bank and Waterloo stations. The entire line has been shut so the 107-year-old route can benefit from a speedy revamp.

The line will reopen at the beginning of September.
