TYRE PYRE: Castle Cement has unveiled its £63 million cement kiln at Padeswood in north Wales. Kiln 4 will boost Castle's annual production at the plant to more than 800,000 tonnes and will use alternative fuels including waste solvents, plastic and tyres.
