UK Regeneration, Scarborough Group and UK Power Networks among latest confirmed Construction News Summit speakers

Scarborough Group, UK Regeneration, UK Power Networks and Graham Construction are among the latest organisations to have senior leaders speak at this year’s Construction News Summit 2015.

Scarborough Group today confirmed its appointment of Beijing Construction and Engineering Group as contractor on its £700m 9.7 ha Middlewood Locks development in Salford.

UK Regeneration chief executive Jackie Sadek will speak on a regional devolution panel with Leeds City Council, Birmingham City Council, Centre for Cities and Transport for Greater Manchester.

Graham Construction chairman Michael Graham will speak on a contractor panel with Anna Stewart (Laing O’Rourke), Rick Willmott (Willmott Dixon) and Richard Howson (Carillion).

More UK clients have been confirmed with Barts Health NHS Trust and UK Power Networks to set out their pipelines and agendas for the coming years.

At the the pre-Summit workshop on 3 November, Argent project director Joseph Williams will talk through Five Pancras Square, winner of the Prime Minister’s Better Public Building award at the British Construction Industry Awards earlier this month.

Legal & General Property’s head of residential James Lidgate will also speak alongside Anthology, Hyde Group and Essential Living on future demand and opportunities in the residential sector.

The event takes place at Westminster Hall on 3 & 4 November. BBC broadcaster and journalist Andrew Neil will present the main Summit on 4 November.
