Ultra cautious

Directors of conservatory manufacturer Ultraframe have urged shareholders to stick with a recommended £29.2 million offer for the firm from rival Latium Holdings, after private equity firm Berggruen signalled an interest last week. They also rejected proposals for a £15 million rights issue put forward by fund manager Mellon HBV, which owns 12 per cent.
