Ultraframe wins second legal battle

Conservatory manufacturer Ultraframe has had a second legal victory in as many months after the Court of Appeal dismissed claims that it had infringed a rival's intellectual property claim.
Burnden Group had launched two actions against Ultraframe, which were dismissed in their entirety. Burnden is also likely to be ordered to pay Utraframe's costs.

In June, Ultraframe won a legal battle over breach of patent rights on its Ultralite 500 roofing technology.

The Court of Appeal ruled that rival Eurocell had breached Ultraframe's patent and design rights with its Pinnacle 500 system.
