Network Rail contractor Dyer & Butler has used a Genie S-85 telescopic boom to repair brickwork on the Wallington Viaduct near Fareham in Hampshire. The machine, hired from Hampshire Plant Hire, has a horizontal reach of 17.1 m, allowing it to be extended across the River Walling ton to the side of the bridge.
