Ventilation makers put to the test

MATERIALS

VENTILATION manufacturers are being called to put their latest products on test as part of a Government-funded project to benchmark their performance.

The call is part of the Energy Efficiency Best Practice in Housing programme, which aims to create a shortlist of suitable products and establish their energy efficiency performance.

'This is an excellent opportunity for manufacturers to get involved and submit their products, ' said Keith Marsh, programme director.

'We are looking for 'emerging' products - either new products that are commercially available or existing products that have been substantially modified.'

Social housing providers interested in establishing the benefits of a particular system are encouraged to apply to the scheme in partnership with manufacturers.
