VIDEO: McGee to expand services beyond pre-construction

McGee Group is focusing on expanding its range of services beyond pre-construction work to include the construction of permanent concrete structures.

Now celebrating its 50th anniversary McGee bosses are keen to develop the company as more than just a demolition firm.

Group chairman Ian Reeves said: “The McGee Group has the capacity to take a project from pre-construction phases - site enabling, decontamination, demolition, groundworks and deep foundation construction, for example - through to constructing permanent concrete structures of all kinds.

“From the strong base created in the past, the group’s plans are to progressively develop a national footprint.

“We want to expand our involvement in delivering the Olympic facilities and the significant infrastructure projects planned from Crossrail and other public transport development in London, including the M25, to the extensive plans in water and sewage, and the future building of power stations.”
